  • 1. History of Azaleas

October 3, 2020, azaleas were announced as part of the lush caves at Minecraft Live 2020.

Since then, azaleas have been upgraded and added to be more complete through versions.

    2. How to harvest Azaleas.

    2.1 Break

Rhododendrons can be broken instantly with any tool or by hand.

An azalea also breaks if a piston stretches or pushes a block into its place.

    2.2 Natural generation.

Rhododendrons and their flowers often grow on moss in lush caves.

    2.3 Post-generation

When decomposed or harvested with tools (other than shears), azalea leaves and flowering azalea leaves have a 5% chance of dropping azaleas and flowering azaleas, respectively.

When using a bone meal on a moss block, each block in the 3×3-7×7 area has a 15% chance of growing an azalea and a 5% chance of growing a blooming Azalea

    3.Using

Azaleas function like any other flower in their interaction and use with bees. Rhododendrons can only be placed on grass blocks, dirt, coarse dirt, root dirt, podzol, moss blocks, farmland, or clay.

Unlike most transparent blocks, flowering rhododendrons and rhododendrons allow mobs to spawn on top of them.

    3.1 Fuel

Rhododendrons can be used as a fuel source in furnaces, smelting 0.5 items for each rhododendron.

    3.2 Plant a tree

Using bone meal on flowering rhododendrons or rhododendrons can develop into azaleas. Rhododendrons and azaleas can grow into plants when placed on soil, coarse dirt, root dirt, potting soil, podzol, clay, grass blocks, or moss.

Unlike young plants, flowering rhododendrons or rhododendrons will not automatically develop into Azaleas, and thus using bone meal on them is the only way to grow Azaleas.

    3.3 Hive

Oak and birch grown from seedlings within 2 blocks of any azalea, have a 5% chance to grow with bees nesting and 1-3 bees in it.

Above are the basic things you need to know about azaleas in Minecraft. Hopefully, the information we give can help you have an interesting experience in the game. Don’t forget to share with your friends!
