This weeks Snapshot brings a thrilling new feature: the opportunity to live-stream your video game on Twitch.television with one click! So how exactly does it work?

Before you can start streaming, you will need to visit your Mojang account settings and link a Twitch account to your Mojang account. Then, while in the game, you may check the quality settings in Options -> Broadcast Choices, or just go on and start broadcasting anytime by striking F6. This key could be configured in the Handles options.

Presently, the livestreaming function is only backed on Windows (XP and higher) and Macintosh OS X Lion (10.7) and higher. If you fail to start broadcasting in-game, visit the options screen also it should state why it isnt functioning.

To obtain snapshots, open up your launcher and push the New User profile button. Contact it snapshots and check out the box stating Enable experimental growth snapshots and conserve. To switch to the standard version, you can choose it in the dropdown in the bottom left part of the launcher.
