Why do you need to dye your armor?
Some people wonder, “What exactly is the use of dyeing the armor?” It’s an aesthetic choice for the player, you can add a bit of color to your wardrobe and ultimately your own world.
Your ability to dye your armor gives you an incredible opportunity for the organization. Enchantments are often mutually exclusive, and not all enchantments are for all situations. What you need.

How to dye armor
- Java version: you have dye armor. The process of applying dye to your leather armor is pretty simple: place the leather armor you want to dye into your crafting grid and then put the dye you want to use into the crafting grid. Bingo! You got yourself some dyed leather armor!
- Bedrock version: to dye your armor, you need a cauldron full of water. Hold your chosen dye in hand and right-click on the cauldron to apply it to the water in the cauldron. Now, hold the armor you want to dye in your hand and right-click on the cauldron. The armor will be colored to your liking.
If you don’t like the dye when it is applied to your shirt, you can remove the dye by holding the dyed armor in your hand and right-clicking on a cauldron filled with water, remember to be water is not adulterated. This will reduce the water level in the cauldron by 1 and will remove all the dye from your armor and restore the original color.
